About Me
Professional Information
I attended DigiPen Institute of Technology (Redmond Campus) from the Fall of 2022 until Spring 2026, in the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design Program. Within this degree, I have specialized in UI design, as well as Game Feel and a spattering of Narrative work. My strengths are in wireframes and menu animation, as well as iterating on and adding to real-time simulation HUD displays. I have experience in Unity, Godot, and Unreal Engine 5, as well as a brief stint in a custom student-made engine with my peers. For graphic design and art tools, I have experience in: Blender, the Adobe Suite (prominently Substance Painter, Photoshop, and a bit of XD), Figma, and Aseprite for pixel art and animation. I also do a bit of sound design, having handled sound effects, audio implementation, and mixing for my first 2 full-game projects, done while working in FamiTracker and Audacity respectively.
Personal Information
Hi! I figured I'd include this in here just for miscellaneous fun facts about me that didn't fit into the structure of a proper portfolio, but are interesting to show off what I bring to the table. I have a background beyond design of music a little, doing small-group jazz trumpet in my free time up into college, I still make time to practice in my free time when I can. I also read a ton of books. Since 2023 I've been collecting as many of the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels as possible. Currently I am at 30/42, having read 27 of them. I am also an avid RPG fan! Both video games, as well as table-top. My personal favorite JRPG is Mother 3, favorite CRPG is Disco Elysium, and favorite Table-top Roleplaying system currently is Fabula Ultima.
